Disciplers International- DI is dedicated to making disciples of all nations. In addition to providing discipleship training resources, DI also provides support and mentorship to our Ministry Partners and church leaders around the world.
Pastor Patrick & Mervis Readson
MALAWI
Since 2012 Disciplers International has supported Pastor Patrick Readson in Malawi with training and resources for his ministry. Patrick’s passion for Jesus Christ and his desire to influence his country with the Gospel is contagious. The church that he and his wife, Mervis, started near Blantyre, Malawi, has multiplied from 1 to over 40 congregations in Malawi and Mozambique. In 2019 Patrick earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development. This couple has taken seriously the vision of Jesus to make disciples, and they continue to do so in urban and rural settings. Patrick and Mervis have three children: Joel, Esther, and Joshua.
Flavien & Naomi Muderhwa
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO -DRC
Since 2015 Disciplers International has supported Flavien and Naomi Muderhwa with discipleship training and resources. Flavien has translated DI discipleship materials into French and Swahili, which he and his wife use to disciple others. In 2017, he founded the Elohim Outreach Ministry (EOM) in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as a Christian ministry dedicated to evangelism, church planting, and disciple-making. EOM also provides spiritual, physical and emotional care to the desperately impoverished people in Goma and throughout the DRC. Flavien and Naomi have three children: Maria, Jimmy James, and Joseph Bartlett.
Pastor Edward Phiri
ZAMBIA
Disciplers International provides training and resources to Pastor Edward Phiri in Lusaka, Zambia. In 2023 He completed the Step-by-Step Discipleship Process with DI’s founder Bart Physioc and now trains Disciples of Christ to become Disciplers for Christ. Edward was ordained as a pastor in 2007 and planted the church that he still leads today. He graduated in 2021 with an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Leadership from Emity Bible College. He loves and cares for his congregation and has a passion for discipleship. Edward and Duness have six children: Edward Jr, Eunice, Naomi, Joseph, Faith, and Blessings.
