The Ministry

Flavien and Naomi Muderhwa are the founders of Elohim Outreach Ministry (EOM) in Goma, DRC. Their Christian ministry is committed to evangelism, church planting, and disciple-making. Through preaching, discipleship, and providing spiritual, physical, and emotional support, they serve vulnerable children, orphaned individuals, and pregnant women in various villages and cities around Goma.

Elohim Outreach Ministry’s mission is rooted in Jesus' Great Commission from Matthew 28:19-20, which calls believers to go and make disciples of all nations.

Flavien and Naomi make regular visits to local refugee camps to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, while also providing food and essential supplies to those in need. Their goal is to bring joy, hope, and restoration to the lives of the most vulnerable.

In addition, Flavien has translated Discipleship International's training materials into French and Swahili, which he and Naomi use to disciple others in their community.

The Vision

Their vision is to make disciples of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20) and raise disciplers for Christ (2 Timothy 2:2). They are also committed to planting house churches and supporting vulnerable groups, including orphaned children through children's ministry and needy pregnant women through hospital ministry. These efforts are currently underway in the two Kivu provinces of the DRC (North Kivu and South Kivu), with the hope to expand throughout the entire Democratic Republic of Congo, in accordance with God's guidance and will.

The Impact

Flavien and Naomi Muderhwa give praise to Father God and express their sincere gratitude to Disciplers International for partnering with them in demonstrating God’s love to orphaned children and pregnant women in the city of Goma and the village of Kibati II. The love they are able to share is a reflection of God’s love, made possible through the generosity of D.I. This effort has had a profound impact, as many are coming to believe that Jesus can bring His love wherever He chooses, to whomever He desires, whenever He wills.

The orphaned children, other vulnerable children, and pregnant women they serve are always filled with joy when receiving monthly provisions of food (rice, beans, oil, etc.) and non-food items (such as clothing). These individuals are deeply grateful to D.I. for their support and offer their thanks to Father God for His continued provision.
