Impact of Disciplers International in Zambia!

Since 2021, I have witnessed God’s grace in our disciple-making ministry. The Lord is in control and He is very much at work! I started a training program in our churches while I was still being trained and equipped. Thirty people were involved in our first training class, including my wife, Diness, three of my six children, five pastors from our local churches and a number of church leaders as well. The 30 graduates followed up by discipling 51 more believers. Below is a photo of the 81 Disciples.

There has been a large increase in graduates, because the 81 Disciplers have trained 444 believers since finishing their Step-by-Step training. Many thanks to Disciplers International for their support in providing funds for us to purchase Bibles and discipleship workbooks. This support was essential because those we train do not have any electronic devices to access the materials online. Once again, we thank Disciplers International for making our disciple-making possible.

The following pictures were taken on one of the graduation days. Each graduate received a Bible and printed discipleship workbook, all of which were provided by Disciplers International.

The photo above is of me presenting a certificate of completion to one of the graduates. This is his testimony.… My name is Cassius Kabandula. I am married with two children and I want to share about the impact of Disciplers International on my life, I completed my training in April 2024 and my life has not been the same since then. At this time, I’m discipling Thomas Njobvu, who will graduate in August. Through the Step-by-Step Process I am becoming a mature Disciple of Christ and a faithful Discipler for Christ!

The total number of Disciples (those in training) and Disciplers (those training others) is now 525 with the next graduation date planned for the second week of August 2024. Of this number there are 20 Pastors I am mentoring to become Ministry Associates of Disciplers International in Zambia.

These 20 Pastors, who have shown interest of becoming Associates now and hopefully Ministry Partners in the future, represent the future of our ministry in Zambia. I cannot do it alone, but with this team and God’s grace we will do it together!
