The Ministry
The transformational power of the cross presented in the gospel offers hope to the world; nothing more, nothing less. This was the message and ministry of Jesus and it is our message and ministry as well. Every person should have the opportunity to respond to the gospel and be discipled, regardless of their background: religious, political, cultural, racial, etc. When people embrace this truth, they become vessels of change, reflecting the love of Jesus to a world in need of transformation.
Our approach, which is modeled after the example of Jesus, is to let His perfect love empower and enable us to love those who feel lost. This happens by developing authentic connections that truly matter. Jesus befriended sinners (Luke 10) and so do we, by opening the door to building Christ-centered relationships that touch hearts and change lives. Embracing the responsibility of personal evangelism, commanded by Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8, is a call we cannot ignore. We’re committed to helping others, addressing physical and spiritual needs in love. We love others because He first loved us. His ministry is our ministry.
The Vision
I begin by training teams to reach others through one-on-one evangelism and then follow-on with the Step-by-Step Process. In the context of this training, we share our passion and insights through discussions that can be life-changing. And our vision to reach “The Horn of Africa” is made all the more effective through Step-by-Step Training that has been translated into local languages. By this means we intend to reach every community, town, and village in Ethiopia.
With our teams working as one, we can empower minds, foster connections, and ignite growth in every heart! This isn’t merely a plan, it’s a movement unfolding with an intentional strategy employed by dedicated Disciplers. We invite you to join us as we continue to prepare, inspire, and spark transformative growth that reaches the indigenous people of Ethiopia.
The Impact
Disciplers International-Ethiopia is on a mission to expand dynamic partnership teams throughout the country. Every day, people from every age group and walk of life are being impacted by the Step-by-Step Training. The numbers continue to grow as our teams continue to train others in the same way they have been trained. Paul’s exhortation to Timothy: “The things you heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2) applies to us as well.
We’re not just making progress, we’re using the Step-by-Step Process like never before. Together, we will reach every corner of our great nation, ensuring that no one is left behind.
