DI Making Disciples

by Gary Munson

The mission of Disciplers International (DI) is to live out the Great Commandment of Matthew 22:37-39, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." DI also aims to fulfill the Great Commission from Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Through Patrick and Mervis Readson in Malawi and Flavien and Naomi Muderhwa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, God has opened up a door to disciple fellow believers in these African nations. God has also opened up opportunities for those who want to connect with a church family online through Haus Church. Bart Physioc and others who have gone through DI’s Discipleship Training are leading friends and family through the Discipleship Process. DI’s team has been faithful in responding to various opportunities God has presented as they are led by the His Spirit. For example, In the last month we have received emails from pastors in Africa and Asia interested in what DI has to offer.

By observing current events, it is obvious there is a desperate need to provide the hope of Jesus to a lost and broken world. During my last trip to El Salvador visiting the sister church of the church I worked at in Washington, the pastor emphasized the need to make disciples - people dedicated to following Jesus.

DI is an all-volunteer organization so we are always looking for volunteers to partner with us. If you are interested in joining our team or would like to receive free Discipleship Training, please contact us.

For our current partners, thank you for all your prayers and support.
